Please note: while Biblical Counselling UK's long-term vision is to have a network of trained and experienced biblical counsellors involved with local churches, this is still a long way off. Such a network does not currently exist and they are not able to currently offer advice on personal problems or provide recommendations of biblical counsellors. If you are wanting to seek help in this sort of way, they recommend you begin by speaking with the pastoral staff of a local church as they may have local counsellors they can recommend.

Dynamics of Biblical Change

DOBC.png

The way we live the Christian life is obviously directed by the way we understand God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. But it is also profoundly affected by the way we understand ourselves and the pressures we face as well as the process of change itself.

Dynamics of Biblical Change is the foundational course in the Biblical Counselling UK certificate programme. It describes the way Christ’s past grace, present grace, and future grace speak to our hearts and change the way we live our daily lives. Case studies, class lectures, assigned readings, and most of all Scripture, help us explore practical ministry questions. Two self-counselling projects make these things first-hand by applying the concepts personally.

Those enrolling on the course will need to set aside about 4-5 hours per week for study. The course fee is £495 but if cost would be a barrier please do be in touch. It is certainly a course useful for those in leadership but also for any Christian believer keen to learn how God changes us by his grace.
