Jesus calls his people to love their neighbour and care for those in need. As part of our response to that call, Christ Church partners with these local and national initiatives.

The Besom
Creates opportunities for teams of people to help others in the community in practical ways, such as gardening, tidying and decorating. We aim for 2-3 projects per year, and we also put hampers together to be distributed over the Christmas period.

Crossways
A project that provides 20 en-suite rooms throughout the winter months for guests who would otherwise be on the streets. There are a number of roles to volunteer for, including lead cook, mealtime assistant, evening or weekend hosts, and housekeeping.

GrowKids
Borne out of the Vineyard Church, it provides free, and accepts donations of, pre-loved clothes and baby equipment in good condition for ages 0-10. A great way to partner with families as they raise their children.
